Waterspout in Fort Morgan - Gulf Shores Photography

While kayak fishing in the picturesque area of Fort Morgan, I noticed that the weather began to gradually deteriorate, accompanied by the distant sound of thunder rumbling. Realizing it was time to head back to the launch, I started my journey back to shore. On the way back, I observed a waterspout began to form in the distance. While it certainly wasn’t a panic situation, as I could clearly see it was miles away from my current location, it did evoke a sense of concern. Nevertheless, I simply couldn't pass up the opportunity to capture some stunning photographs. As quickly as it had formed, the waterspout subsequently dissipated, vanishing back into the clouds.
